Red RFMOD RF Module – Wireless Interconnection Module

The Red RFMOD RF Module allows compatible 240V Red Smoke Alarms and Heat Alarms to be wirelessly interconnected, providing a flexible solution for creating a connected fire detection system without the need for additional interconnecting wiring between alarms.

Once installed into a compatible alarm, the RFMOD enables wireless RF communication between compatible Red smoke and heat alarms. This makes it an ideal option for smoke alarm upgrades, renovations and residential fire safety systems where wireless interconnection is preferred.

Compatible Alarms

The RFMOD RF Module is compatible with the following Red Smoke Alarms and Heat Alarms:

  • RFMDUAL – Certified Dual Power Flush Mount Smoke Alarm
  • RHA240SL – 240V Heat Alarm with Rechargeable Lithium Backup
  • R240P – 240V Smoke Alarm with 9V Battery Backup
  • RSDUALP – 240V or 10-Year Lithium Dual Power Smoke Alarm
  • RSDUALPB – Black 240V or 10-Year Lithium Dual Power Smoke Alarm

ActivFire Certified RF Interconnectivity

The RFMOD forms part of the ActivFire certification for RF interconnectivity on compatible products, including the RFMDUAL and RHA240SL. This provides confidence that the wireless interconnection system has been assessed as part of the relevant certified product configuration.

Important: The RFMOD must be installed in a compatible alarm and used in accordance with the manufacturer's installation and compatibility requirements.
